Could you guys grace me with a good recipe for pitas? The couple recipes that I've found and tried made the pocket pita kind and I want the fluffy, chewy kind that you have with gyros. I will love you forever if someone has one!

Wed, August 22, 2007 - 8:53 AMTo all of you who request recipes once in a while, I can greatly recommend getting ''Baking with Julia'' by Julia Child. It is a fabulous book, I have had mine since it came out and it is well used and I very soon must get another backup copy when this one falls apart.
Aleese, there is a wealth of middle eastern bread recipes in there. -
